With a Holiday vacation in mind as always, Tahiti is a place where we long to be. Only hearing stories and viewing pictures of friends adventures, inspired this new piece. Its that time of year already

From hot sunny days to passing showers marks the beginning of the Holiday Season in my mind. Raindrops falling and Champagne flowing are just some inspirations for the New Holiday 09 Collection. Since we all seem to indulge a little more than usual this time of year, these embellished 14k gold filled drops with faceted glass in rich colors will really polish off your holiday ensemble, and switch it up a bit to your everyday cut offs and blouse.

FW09 Preview

RockaBella begins the season off with a bang. Literally speaking, this first collection of necklaces are created by stuffing natural healing stones and minerals to sea shells into the casings of 9mm to 38 special. Inspired from my fiance and his friends while diving at Molokini Crater one afternoon came the suggestion of using the shells in jewelry. I set the idea aside for most of the summer until it came up again around the dinner table. Each bullet shell is completely polished and paired with a one of a kind tiger shells, cone shells and gemstones like Aqua Aura Quartz which is said to be The Pure Healer and is infused with pure gold. Komen Kansas City Breast Cancer Survivor Luncheon

For the first time ever, designer Kristel of RockaBella created an inspiring line of jewelry with breast cancer survivor and owner of Kinisue's for the  Susan G. Komen for the Cure Greater Kansas City Breast Cancer Survivor Luncheon event to celebrate Life, Survival provides Hope and promises Plenty of Retail Therapy!

New York fashion week says black is going big along side greys and metallics.  RockaBella has whipped out a few new pieces with that in mind, with island style in mind of course.

With inspiration coming from the unexplored, meaning if you think of white sandy beaches and the ocean on the horizon when Hawaii comes to mind... great! There is also gorgeous black sand beaches and beautiful caves, and things only seen in the deep sea.  I am not going to risk my life or the black coral species, so enjoy the jet swarovski crystal coral instead.

The 2009 Collection from Nina Kuna Designs Hawaii has something just in time for Valentines Day. 

Thorn is a firm way to express this day with a piece of jewelry. Nina is constantly coming up with new designs to keep her line on the not your typical Hawaiian jewelry side of the industry.

This Paisley necklace has got the most modern feel to the collection in my own opinion, but still has a whimsical hippy feeling that comes from living on Maui for the more sophicated ladies in all of us.
